Brown "U" Turn? LABOUR ON THE RUN???

so, the freedom of information bill amendment is to be abandoned?

Gordon Brown has performed an embarrassing about-turn by abandoning plans to shield MPs' expenses claims from detailed public scrutiny.

amid fast growing oppostion from mr cameron, brown drops the amendment.
is it in his best interest?
time will tell!
but i strongly suspect that labour mp's are the ones who have really took the piss and exploited the taxpayers of this country.

another thing worth noting is the fact that they are talking about publishing the 1.2 million receipts for amounts over £25,,,, that means that before we start to tot it all up, we are allready talking about MORE than £26 million pounds of taxpayers money being spent "allegedly" on second homes for the mp's who are draing this country of every last penny it has!

their expenses cover things like, food, drink, hospitality, television licence fees, cable and sky tv packages to keep up with the news,,,,, and the list goes on, cookers, fridges, freezers, microwaves, kettles, furniture, bathroom equipment,,, even redcoration of their second homes and taxi's to the shops for their partners etc etc etc,,,

the sooner this is all stopped the better.

how many projects are in existance that are struggling for the sake of a few thousand pounds to pay some bills?
and when those bills are not paid, the project fails and folds with the loss of jobs.

with the figure of £26 million pounds (and you can adjust that to maybe at least £500 million since it all started) as an average, there has been more money spent on mp's expenses than would have been needed to bail out woolworths and save 32000 jobs.
it even comes to more than was recovered by dwp investigation teans in fraudulent claims by people of other than british nationality.
and it is absolutly scandalous that mp's can spend more money on themselves, when you take into account that they recieve in excess of £63.000 per year in salary, than they will spend on people with disability who need their help.

us people on disability are expected to live on less than £10.000 per year, and from that we are expected to pay for our own white goods when our old ones finally break down for good, we have to feed ourselves, clothe ourselves, and generally pay all our bills or else!

WHILE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT JOBLESS FIGURES,,,,

dont forget, in order to manipulate the figures so they dont look so bad, please take into account the following,,,,

1) the figures DONT include people on income support.
2) the figures dont include people on disability benefits.
3) the figures dont include people on "courses" which are government run and earn claimants an extra £20 per week.
so in reality, the jobless total is probably way in excess of 3 million allready.

why do they manipulate these figures?
its all for election purposes.
if the figures are lower, you will vote for them.

i do hope everyone will take this information into account when voting for their chosen parties.
