so then, here we are again!
We have had the "revolting backbench revolt" and the "partial withdrawal?" of the "revolting backbench revolters revolt" over the 10p tax issue.
We have had the Brown "mad hatter" refusing to budge just before he budged!
He gave in!
He caved in!He surrendered!
He outright fuckin "U" turned!
What was it all for?
Who knows?
More to the point,,, WHO CARES???
At the end of the day, the desired result was achieved!
Latest "yougov" poll suggests that Brown is now more than trailing behind the conservatives, Yes, he is at the moment resembelling something you would scrape off of your shoe before stepping in a cow pat!
After Browns little stunt, the conservative party are edging ahead in the polls by a few % points.
26% points to be exact.
The whole sorry affair has been quite costly to the labour party (a cost which we the british public will probably pay for!!!) in public opinion, party opinion, and any other opinion you would care to mention.
i will site the most obvious opinion that i knew of before i saw it in print,
The rebellion threatened to become a Commons vote of confidence in Mr Brown and
the division between the Prime Minister and his backbench MPs now presents the
party with a problem in terms of public opinion.
And he knew it!
Hence the reason for the "U" turn!
Tory lead over Labour hits 21-year high

Now, i personally should not make predictions here, but just for fun, i will!
I predict that Boris johnson will either WIN against Livingstone, and if not then a VERY close tie type of result will prevail, possibly needing a recount to make sure.
I also predict that at the local elections due next week, conservatives will retain more than 90% of their existing seats and gain at least 55 seats from labour.
I believe those figures will become reality and there is now nothing on earth that brown can do to make things better for himself,,, he couldnt even bribe me to use my vote on his party and i have been giving them my vote for some 30 years now, rain or shine, good or bad,,,, if my vote goes anywhere this year it will be cast in the direction of the conservative party, even if the mp for this area turns out to be micheal jacksons dead monkey, it would have to make more sense than voting labour!!!
Quite honestly, i have seen more life in a bag of chips!
"quote :-cameron" during P.M question time.
"tomorrows cheerios?"
I LOVED THAT ONE!
Fuck off Brown and take your mamby pamby shitty titty halflife fuckwit party with you!
benny.
